Overview
After having success in Asia, businessman Aksel Borgen is asked back to his hometown in Norway to save an important local firm despite it being 20 years since he was sentenced and later acquitted for murdering his high school sweetheart.

Season 1
Accused and then acquitted of the murder of his then girlfriend in their small town, Aksel Nilsen leaves the country to start a new life. But 20 years later we find him drawn back to his hometown, where he must once again prove his innocence.
Season 2
As the dust settles, Aksel has the answer he so desperately sought. Finally, his search for justice appears to be over and his reconciliation within the local community can begin, but Aksel’s hopes are short-lived.
