The show features a previous contestant from the ABC show The Bachelorette and the series' first single parent from Kirkland, Washington, Jason Mesnick, counting 25 women. Mesnick became the second former The Bachelorette suitor ever competed on The Bachelor since Bob Guiney of season 1 of The Bachelorette and season 4 of The Bachelor.

Season 14

The show features a previous contestant from The Bachelorette, and a pilot from Dallas, Texas, Jake Pavelka, counting 25 women.

Season 15

38-year old Brad Womack, who previously appeared as the Bachelor in season 11, where he rejected both of his final two women, returned as the Bachelor for this season, counting 30 women, unlike the 25 in previous seasons. Womack became the first bachelor on The Bachelor twice.

Season 16

This show features a previous contestant from The Bachelorette, a winemaker and owner of Envolve wines, from Sonoma, California, Ben Flajnik, who finished runner-up in the seventh season of that show. This season returns with 25 women featured in the competition, excluding a senior citizen.

Season 17

This season features 28-year-old Sean Lowe, a former Kansas State football player from McKinney, Texas. Lowe placed third as a contestant during the eighth season of The Bachelorette with Emily Maynard.

Season 18

With his Spanish accent, good looks, salsa moves and undying devotion for his daughter, Juan Pablo, 32, was a fan favorite. Sadly, Desiree Hartsock couldn't see a future with Juan Pablo and sent him home from Barcelona. Although he was blindsided by not getting a rose, the experience of being on The Bachelorette opened his eyes to the possibility of finding a real, everlasting love. He can't give up on love and on giving his daughter, Camila, what she wants more than anything else in the world - a brother and a sister to complete their family. Juan Pablo is ready and hopeful that he'll find love and the missing puzzle piece to fulfill his family.

Season 19

Millions of single women had mixed emotions when Chris Soules, the stylish farmer from Iowa, was sent home by Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette. One of the final three men, Chris was dismissed after he had emotionally confessed his love to Andi, but that meant the handsome bachelor was back on the market. Now, he is ready to put his heartache behind him to search for the one missing piece in his life - true love.

Season 20

Bachelor Nation was heartbroken when fan-favorite Ben Higgins, the charming software salesman, was sent home by Kaitlyn Bristowe on The Bachelorette. Ben saw a “great life” with Kaitlyn, only to have it disappear before him when he was left without a rose.
