Overview
When petty criminal Earl Hickey wins the lottery, he sets off on a quest to repair his questionable karma.
Seasons & Episodes
Season 1
Earl is learning the hard way that when you do something bad, it has a way of coming back and biting you in the butt! Hoping to turn his life around, Earl's got a lengthy list of detestable deeds to make up for, from stealing a one-legged girl's car, to avoiding a nasty break-up by faking his own death.
Season 2
Doing the right thing isn't always easy. Just ask Earl Hickley (Jason Lee), a recovering ne'er-do-well with a lifetime's worth of dirty deeds to make up for. In order to turn his life around, Earl needs a G.E.D., a job, an apartment, and a whole lot of good karma. And, if he can keep his ex-wife out of prison, so much the better!
Season 3
Life behind bars is a real pain in the butt. Just ask Earl, whose commitment to good karma has landed him in the Big House. His shackled hands are full - there's a gang war to stifle and a gala prison prom to plan. Even conjugal visit day is one big headache! With a pregnant ex-wife and a hilariously inept prison guard for a brother, Earl suffers a karmic crisis and finally goes over the top!
Season 4
"Karma" should be a four-letter word. Just ask Earl, the lovable loser with a hilarious laundry list of dirty deeds that need undoing, from stealing a children's bookmobile to getting his babysitter pregnant - the hard way! And, while Earl's brother Randy starts a karmic list of his own, Earl's ex-wife, Joy, and her husband are movin' on up to the suburbs. Trouble is, you can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl.
